Our mission:

Advancing Hawaii’s cutting-edge research in genetic engineering.  By investing locally, the foundation supports talented Hawaii researchers with the goal of creating a biotechnology hub in the islands.  The foundation aims to build a reputation for Hawaii’s researchers by supporting projects with high impact that have directly translatable applications for gene therapy. The long-term goal for the foundation is the generation of real cures for genetic diseases.
